You can't get a Guinness in Porterhouse. Nor should you want too. Their Plain Porter or Wrasslers XXXX is among the best beers in the world. And you can only get them in one of Porterhouse pubs (as they have grown to become a chain of venues over the years). Porterhouse in Temple Bar has three floors with a stage for live music between the first and second floor. Go to Porterhouse, enjoy fantastic beers, and maybe listen to the traditional Irish band Sliotar whom played there for around fifteen years now. Always loads of people though and it might be hard to find somewhere to sit, or later at night to stand for that matter.

They do serve great beer. The Plain is do die for. Had it not been for the beer though, the pub is often very crowded. Later in the evening you can just forget about getting a table. Not that it matters that much but still...
